Don’t bother applying they wont accept you.
I thought parents were supposed to support you in applying for college not tell you how fucking stupid you are and how im automatically not going to be accepted. Instead I get yelled at for wanting to pursue my education. Just another reason why I hate my fucking “family”.

CSU Long Beach, CSU Fullerton, San Jose State, Sonoma State, Pepperdine, Loyola Marymount, Hofstra, and USC.

Wow ok usually I laugh at posts tagged “fuck parents” but this is… something that definitely warrants that expletive. I am so sorry. I think you should apply anyway, if you can find a way to get it past them. A lot of applications are online so it might not be hard.
Dude, no, you don’t need your parents’ permission to apply anywhere, it is your life and your education. I’m sorry that you’re in that situation though. :(
If you want the advice of someone who’s been to both a prestigious university and a community college, though, the cheaper community college actually is giving me a better education and more one-on-one professor attention. Because they don’t get paid as much, the only reason they teach is usually because they want to teach and actually care about what and who they are teaching. Whereas professors in prestigious universities typically teach to get money to do research. That’s my experience. I hated the prestigious university.
